L’Oréal Recalls Cosmetics Products in Portugal

Formulas contain Butylphenyl methylpropional, a banned substance.

The world's largest cosmetics company, L'Oréal, has been ordered to recall personal care products in Portugual. The directive came from Infarmed – Autoridade Nacional do Medicamentos e Produtos de Saude, the FDA equivalent in the country, according to The Portugal News. Butylphenyl methylpropional has been banned for use in cosmetics in Portugal since March 2022.
